RES Online Manual

Section 1 - Introduction

What is RES?

The Remote Entry System (RES) is a software package developed specifically by OmniBase for the Failure to Appear Program. This is a free software for courts that are participating in the FTA program. This software will keep a database of all violator and offense information. It will transmits this information to OmniBase Services of Texas using a dial up connection to a BBS. The software will also have report features on violators and offenses, transmission status, and payments to OmniBase. You will use RES to clear violators of their Failure To Appear status. After a political subdivision transmits a clearance request to OBS, the violator should be cleared with TDPS within 3 business days.
